Description

Carter P4070 fuel pump.  Rotary vane, constant running, fuel pump with 72 gph capability and 4-6psi output.  Can often be used without a fuel regulator on many carbs – but fuel pressure needs to be checked for this.  1/4″ NPT inlet and outlet.  Can be used on engines up to around 400hp.  For higher performance engines use our pump FMP4600HP.

This pump MUST be fitted below fuel tank so that it is gravity fed and MUST use a fuel filter before the inlet.

If the pump is allowed to run dry – it will seize.
