Description
Performer camshafts are part of the Edelbrock power package. The Performer package is designed to greatly increase performance and driveability in the low to mid-rpm range. This is the first level of increase over stock. The Performer package parts available include intake manifold, camshaft, carburettor and cylinder heads. This camshaft can be used in conjunction with the Performer, Performer RPM or Torker 11intakes. The Performer camshaft when matched with the Performer intake is a good choice for otherwise stock or mild performance engines as power is produced from idle to 5500 rpm. The Performer cam produces a smooth idle with a major increase in throttle response and torque. Camshafts are supplied with hydraulic lifters, assembly lube and instructions. Designed for street 351 cubic inch Ford Windsor V8 and in Ford 302 when using the late 302/351W firing order of 1,3,7,2,6,5,4,8. Advertised duration 270 Int, 280 Exh. Lift at valve .448 Int, .472 Exh. Recommended carb EDEL1405 for most applications
