The Small Block Ford V8 302 engine in standard form provides the most economical way to install a new or re-machined Ford 302 V8 engine. It is ideally suited to customers constructing Cobras and GT40s, when authenticity is of concern or to replace the 289 or 302 in 1960’s cars. The lower height of the Ford 302 compared to that of the Ford 351W makes it the choice of customers when bonnet clearance is a consideration. GT40 applications will require additional / alternative parts.

Camshaft – Hydraulic flat tappet

* Iron water pump and pulleys
* Damper assembly
* 600cfm Carburettor
* 14” Chrome air cleaner
* Internal regulated alternator
* Ignition wire set and spark plugs
* Oil filter (some applications may require additional remote adapter)
* Engine mounts
* Thermostat and housing

Options for this engine include: Hi-torq starter, Edelbrock Elite valve covers, Elite air cleaner, aluminium high flow water pump, engine painting, chrome alternator. Some applications may require remote filter mounting kit at additional cost.
