Jaguar V12 5-Speed Conversion Bellhousing For Tremec TKX

Put the new Tremec TKX 5 speed gearbox behind your Jaguar V12

 

 

Many customers have asked us for a sollutuion to fit the 5 speed Tremec TKX/TKO transmission behind the Jaguar V12 engine.  We now have a Jaguar V12 5-Speed conversion bellhousing that directly accepts the Tremec TKX transmission.

This is another of our own bellhousings - designed by ourselves to fit a Tremec TKX transmission on to the 5.3 (early and late) Jaguar V12 engines.  It can also be used on the Jaguar 6.0 V12 (with minor modifications).  This one-piece CAD drawn unit was produced from CNC cut patterns and is a fully CNC machined, heat treated aluminium casting.  There is no need for adaptor plates and the machining accuracy results in little need to use offset dowels for accurate bellhousing alignment.  It will accommodate early and later starter motor location on the V12 engine.

 

This bellhousing is designed to use the following options for clutch release:

 

Clutch fork, release bearing and cable operation or,

Clutch fork, release bearing and external slave cylinder or

Internal hydraulic release bearing kit

 

Our bellhousing depth is 170mm

 

We have produced a full conversion package consisting of clutch fork, release bearing, external slave cylinder, spigot bearing (both early and late style), billet steel 160 teeth flywheel, clutch set, flywheel dowels, flywheel bolts and clutch bolt set.  This full package in now available.
